Who I am, what I stand for.
I am Anna Frohn, 29, raised in Vechta. As a lawyer I advise municipalities across Germany; as a city councillor I work in Vechta local politics. Now I am running for mayor.
I do not only want to describe this city's problems. I want to solve them.
We live in a great city, and I am proud to come from here. But too much potential is unused and too many answers are missing. That is why I am running: out of love for my hometown and with the will to shape it.
Why I am running.

Because Vechta is not using its full potential.
We have strong companies, committed people and a clear regional profile. But too many opportunities remain unused: commercial land, the city centre and an administration that should be a partner, not an obstacle.

Because my generation needs the same chances as our parents.
My parents could still realise the dream of owning a home here. I want young families to be able to live, build and stay in Vechta in the future.

Because Vechta needs change now, not in eight years.
Some advised me to run later. I believe our city needs this start now: with an administration that listens, an honest budget and an approachable city hall.

Grew up in Vechta
Born and raised in Vechta. Alexanderschule, then one of the first pupils in the 2006 girls' year at Kolleg St. Thomas - school-leaving exam in 2014.
- Studies
Law in Münster, focused on state and administration
Studied law in Münster with a focus on municipal law and on how public administration organises everyday life where it has to work in practice.
- Legal training
OLG Oldenburg, Landkreis Vechta, Speyer
Professional legal training at Landgericht Oldenburg, Landkreis Vechta and, for several months, the public prosecutor's office in Aurich. Further specialisation at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer.
- Work
Attorney for municipal law
Fully qualified lawyer and attorney. Today she works in a Bremen law firm advising municipalities and municipal companies nationwide, including utilities, on building law, energy law including geothermal energy, and corporate law.
- Politics
CDU by conviction
First Junge Union event at 17, CDU member at 18. Since the municipal election she has served on Vechta city council. Deputy state chair of Junge Union Niedersachsen and currently head of the statewide municipal election campaign. Her local and county party offices are paused during the candidacy.
- Volunteering
Search and rescue and local conservation
Active in the Rettungshundestaffel Weser-Ems, searching for missing people together with her dog. Also on the board of the local hunting and conservation association.

Nominated as mayoral candidate
Nominated by CDU Vechta as candidate for mayor. In dialogue with all parliamentary groups, initiatives and democratic forces in the city.

Mayoral election in the city of Vechta. Anna is running for change at city hall, offering to shape Vechta together with the people of the city.
